Community Cast
The professional production of The Southwark Mysteries involved a cast and crew of 18 theatre professionals. The play was conceived so that it could be performed be a minimum cast of 9, but with scope to accommodate a much larger community cast.
The inclusion of a community cast in this production was a distinct project, funded by Big Lottery Fund, with additional support from Southwark Council. Our 50-strong adult community cast was recruited from people who live, work, study, or have a particular interest in Southwark. Click the link to see
